The Davis Applied Technology College (DATC) is in Kaysville and offers vocational and technical training.

Fruit Heights offers an abundance of recreational activities. One of the nearby attractions is Cherry Hill Water Park, where you will find a Pirates Cove Activity Pool, Cardiac Canyon River Run, Grant’s Gulch Lazy River, Double Dragons waterslides, and more. In addition to the water park, Cherry Hill has a maze, miniature golf, panning for gems, and camping/RV facilities. Another entertaining venue is Boondocks, which offers bowling, miniature golf, bumper boats, go-carts, batting cages, laser tag, rollerball, etc. Station Park, a new premier shopping center, is less than ten minutes away, in Farmington. It features upscale retail stores, restaurants, entertainment, a park, a children’s play area, an outdoor ice-skating rink, and a world-class show fountain. Lagoon Amusement Park, also in Farmington, has roller coasters, carousels, bumper cars, water rides, and other attractions, including a water park, Lagoon-A-Beach. The Davis Park Golf Course, in Fruit Heights, offers beautiful valley, lake, and mountain views.

Davis County is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise, with over 123 trail heads, 230 miles of hiking trails, 45 miles of bike lanes, and 93 miles of paved shared trail. Snowbasin, an official venue of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, is only a half-hour’s drive from Fruit Heights. In addition to offering world-class skiing and snowboarding, you can hike, bike, and ride the gondola up the mountain in the summer.
